Win-Win Negotiation

This workshop offers a concise, step-by-step proven strategy for negotiating mutually-acceptable agreements in every type of conflict situation.  You will learn how to negotiate successfully with people who are more powerful, refuse to play by the rules, or resort to counterproductive tactics without giving in.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Separate the person from the problem to help maintain objectivity in your interactions
  • Focus on the issues
  • Set precise goals for yourself at the outset of the negotiations
  • Identify your best alternatives if negotiations break down
  • Listen objectively to opposing viewpoints
  • Communicate assertively and persuasively
  • Understand your power base and how to make the best use of it
  • Work together to create options that will satisfy both sides
  • Overcome manipulative tricks designed to distract and disarm you
  • Suggest proposals consistent with everyone’s values


Methodology:  This program utilizes video, group discussion, structured exercises, practice exercises and a question and answer segment.
